Screw-in thermocouples Type K Class 1 acc. IEC 584-3

In order to measure the water and oil temperatures in pipes and in closed containers in a small footprint, is screw-in thermocouples are particularly well suited. Furthermore, they are an economical alternative to the thermocouple with compression fitting. For reasons of space can now be dispensed with a screw connection, which has the consequence that only one sealing surface on the thread is present. A notch or damage to the outer sheath by a metal thermocouple taper is avoided. The thermocouple type K. The types J, N, L, E, T are also available on request.

The immersion depth X of the sheathing thermocouple is from the tip to the bottom of the thread about 7 - 10 mm (see table). Other immersion depths are available on request. The thermocouple is connected to screw M 8 x 1 and holds a standard by means of a copper sealing ring DS Cu1208 one pressure of 60 to 100 from bar. Other threads are available: M 10 x 1, M 6 x 1 (see table). The application temperatures range - 75 up to + 280 °C (shielded Teflon cable) and -55 up to + 400 °C (glass fiber-shielded cable).
